The best player in college football has officially declared for the NFL Draft.

Ohio State's supreme edge rusher Chase Young has declared for the NFL Draft, despite a brief hedge surrounding the Heisman ceremony, with this classy Twitter post, deciding to forgo one more year of playing at Ohio State and instead opting to go straight to the league.

In the post, Young thanks everyone who helped him get to this point, most specifically his family, his teammates, and the Ohio State University. He also talks about how excited he is for the challenges ahead, and how much he looks forward to playing on Sundays.

Nobody seems to be more happy about this announcement than fans of the Washington Redskins.

The 'Skins currently possess the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 Draft, and with Heisman Trophy Winner Joe Burrow seemingly locked in as a Cincinnati Bengal, then it only feels right to send Young to D.C.

For Ohio State this season, Young posted an astounding 16.5 sacks, the Buckeyes' single season record, despite playing in only 11 games.

The game wrecker and likely No. 2 overall pick in the draft seems poised to be a force to be reckoned with in the NFL for at least the next decade.
