Ohio State's Dominant Win Over Wisconsin Proves a CFP Berth is Theirs to Lose
By Chris Pyo

No. 3 Ohio State crushed No. 13 Wisconsin by a score of 38-7 Saturday in a major Big Ten statement. At this point, a College Football Playoff berth is fully within the Buckeyes' grasp if they can keep winning. They're just that good.
By beating a solid Wisconsin team in their first true test of the season and limiting Heisman Trophy candidate Jonathan Taylor to 52 rushing yards on 20 carries, Ohio State proved that they're legitimate contenders among the likes of Alabama and LSU.

Buckeyes defensive lineman Chase Young had himself an incredible game, posting four sacks and two forced fumbles. He's really talking himself into the Heisman conversation with they way he's been performing on the defensive side of the ball for Ohio State, but he's far from the only OSU player putting up spirited peformances week after week-- just ask Justin Fields and JK Dobbins.
What a day for Ohio State's Chase Young ?

If Ohio State can find a way to beat No. 6 Penn State in a month and No. 19 Michigan the week after that, they may even supplant LSU to become the No. 2 ranked team in all of college football heading into the Big Ten title game, a contest in which they'd surely be favored.
For now, Ryan Day has to be feeling pretty good about where his team stands right now. The stage is set: if they just keep playing this kind of winning football, the sky will be the limit when the postseason rolls around.
