The Early Signing Period will come to a close on Friday, and it surely was a great year for the Ohio State Buckeyes. The team's 2020 class is loaded, with a pair of quarterback signees heading to Columbus next year.

Yup, Jack Miller and CJ Stroud have inked with OSU, and chose the Buckeyes over a boatload of offers. How does this shape up the QB depth chart for next season?

Ohio State 2020 QB Depth Chart

  • Justin Fields
  • CJ Stroud/Jack Miller
  • Danny Vanatsky/Jagger Laroe/J.P. Andrade

There's a reason Ohio State went after two quarterbacks for this class. The depth behind Justin Fields wasn't great heading into next season, especially with grad transfers Gunner Hoak and Chris Chugunov on their way out of Columbus.

However, QBs Danny Vanatsky, Jagger Laroe and J.P. Andrade are set to return. Add Miller and Stroud to the mix and all of a sudden things are looking good for Ohio State.

Fields is obviously the starter next season, having led this program to the College Football Playoff and looking sensational behind center in the process. However, both Miller and Stroud will look to make noise the second they arrive on campus and compete for No. 2 and No. 3 jobs. Stroud picked OSU over USC, Georgia, Michigan and Oregon, while Miller went with the Buckeyes over 17 other tenders.

Things are looking bright for Ohio State for the years to come. What else is new?
