Brian Hartline is at it again. The Ohio State wide receivers coach and master recruiter has secured the commitment of two 4-star wideouts in addition to a potentially dominant safety.

Wide receiver Mookie Cooper, a 4-star from Pattonville HS in St. Louis, has committed to the Buckeyes.

Cooper is a smaller slot receiver at 5-8 and 195 pounds, but possesses bunches of speed and agility to make moves in the open field. Ohio State was long considered the frontrunner for him, but Illinois and USC were in the running until the very last minute before he decided to become a Buckeye.

Ryan Day and Co. weren't done adding wideouts just yet, as fellow 4-star Jaxon Smith-Njigba also committed to the Buckeyes.

Smith-Njigba, who hails from Rockwall HS in Texas, was sought after by Boston College, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma before he chose Ohio State. At 6-1 and 190 pounds, Smith-Njigba's game revolves around making big plays down the field.

Finally, Ohio State bolstered their defense with Tuscon, Ariz. safety Lathan Ransom, another 4-star recruit.

Ransom was committed to Ohio State since July, as the likes of LSU, Notre Dame, and Texas missed out on the physical, downhill safety.

With Julian Fleming also coming to Columbus and Garrett Wilson poised for more playing time next year, the Buckeyes are primed and ready to light up the scoreboard in 2020. Meanwhile Ransom should step in and contribute to the team's top-tier defense.
