Death, taxes and the Ohio State football program reeling in some fantastic recruits. Those appear to be the guarantees we have in this lifetime. That was once again made clear over the weekend when the Buckeyes received a verbal pledge from 4-star wide receiver Kyion Grayes.

With Grayes on board, Ohio State holds the No. 1-ranked class in the country for 2022. And there's going to be even more star talent on the way to Columbus.

This was a monster pick-up for Ohio State, as the superstar wideout picked OSU over additional tenders from Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Nebraska, Penn State, Oregon and many others. With Grayes in the fold, Ohio State now holds eight verbal pledges for '22.

Of those eight verbals, three are 5-star recruits, while the five others are 4-star prospects. The Buckeyes are No. 1 in the land in the team rankings ahead of LSU, Texas, Georgia and Texas A&M.
