Nick Bosa Hopeful to Play Week 1 After Returning to 49ers Practice
By Michael Luciano

The San Francisco 49ers might have used a first round pick on Ohio State pass rusher Nick Bosa, but they have yet to see any immediate returns on him in the preseason due to an ankle injury.
Well, Bosa has finally returned to 49ers practice, and he is "motivated" to play in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With Dee Ford guaranteed a starting spot, Bosa will likely start on the other side in their 4-3 scheme. If he can't go, former first round picks Arik Armstead and Solomon Thomas will line up on the other side of him.
Bosa's talent is undeniable, but he struggled to stay on the field in college and his NFL career didn't get off to much different of a tune.

When he's healthy, there is nothing quite like him for a player his age, as his speed, power, and competitive spirit make him a problem just about everywhere that he lines up.
The 49ers better hope that ankle stays intact and he can shore up a sketchy pass rush. He'd provide a huge boost if he's good to suit up for Week 1's clash with the Bucs.
