That last news that we heard regarding Tyreek Hill and his child abuse case came on June 7, when the Johnson County DA office closed the once-ongoing investigation, stating that the Kansas City Chiefs star wideout would not face any criminal charges.

While that news came off as disturbing to millions of fans throughout the nation, the NFL is still performing their due diligence, and according to Yahoo! Sports, representatives from the league are scheduled to conduct several interviews with Hill this week.

Could justice actually come to fruition in the near future?

Per the latest, the NFL will meet with Hill on Wednesday.

These scheduled meetings could very well foreshadow that the NFL is seriously close to making a firm ruling on Hill's suspension, which once felt inevitable.

It's worth reiterating that the Pro Bowl pass catcher and return specialist wasn't indicted, but, football fans will be quick to remember that, despite not being charged with a felony, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was still suspended six games by the league for violating its personal conduct policy.

Monday's developments should hint that the NFL prefers coming to a decision on Hill prior to KC's training camp, which is set to start on July 26.
