Josh Gordon has been given chance after chance by the NFL, and he was just handed another lifeline on Friday. The Patriots wideout was reinstated by the league after being suspended in December.
The NFL released its official statement on the matter, and it really looks like the league is pushing for the receiver to succeed. Roger Goodell even stated that the NFL was rooting for Gordon on both personal and professional levels.

"We are all rooting for Josh to succeed, both personally and professionally. Everyone shares in that hope and will continue to support him to every extent possible. But as Josh acknowledged, his success is up to him," Goodell said.
Gordon has undeniable talent, as he always showcases when he's playing on the field. He's been disciplined by the league multiple times, but hopefully that's all truly in the past.
Josh Gordon was suspended Dec. 20 for violating the terms of his reinstatement under the league's substance abuse policy, missing the Patriots' final two regular-season games and all three playoff games. But now, he’s back.

Gordon will officially be able to rejoin the Patriots on Sunday, for what could be his final chance to prove he's capable of sticking around in the league and not violating the substance abuse policy.
We're all rooting for Gordon to stay healthy and make the most out of his career, and it seems the NFL is firmly on our side in that regard.
