4 NFL Coaches Who Should Be Fired on Black Monday

The turnover rate for NFL head coaches has been staggeringly high this decade, culminating in 25 percent of teams firing their coach last season. With so many underperforming squads this season, here are four coaches that will likely be looking for a new job in 2020.

4. Pat Shurmur

Pat Shurmur has already been fired as an NFL head coach once (following a brief run with the Browns from 2011-2012), and he's once again on the hot seat as the coach of the Giants. With New York currently sitting at 3-11, Shurmur should be relieved of his duties sooner rather than later.

3. Dan Quinn

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Dan Quinn was once one of the rising stars in coaching, nearly leading the Falcons to a Super Bowl victory in 2017. Since then, it has been all downhill for Quinn and the Falcons, as they currently sit at 5-9 in the basement of the NFC South with the Panthers.

2. Freddie Kitchens

Freddie Kitchens has perhaps the most talented roster in the NFL, yet his team sits at 6-8 and will miss the playoffs. He's not just a bad coach, he's an incompetent one, and the roster seems to agree.

1. Jason Garrett

Garrett has been the coach of the wealthiest team in the NFL for almost a decade now, and he has just two playoff victories in that time-frame. Even should Dallas make the postseason it shouldn't buy Garrett more time. It's time for a change in Big D.
