The football world was sent into a frenzy on Monday after Houston Texans general manager Bill O'Brien made an absolutely absurd trade. He sent generationally talented wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and a fourth-round pick to the Arizona Cardinals for second- and fourth-round picks and running back David Johnson.

This trade was so utterly absurd that other head coaches and general managers around the league reportedly started laughing at O'Brien once they heard the news.

Yes, David Johnson had an incredible 2016 campaign, but hasn't been anywhere near that level ever since. Meanwhile, Hopkins is arguably the most talented Texans player in franchise history, as well as one of the most game-breaking skill players in the league.

Because of the pure insanity of this move, O'Brien was trolled unbelievably hard online. And it's hard to argue with it.

There's no reason that O'Brien shouldn't be made fun of for this. Offloading Hopkins was one of the worst, most boneheaded moves that could have taken place around the league. Feel free to laugh, folks. In these days of COVID-19, we've never needed it more.
