NFL Cancels All Pre-Draft Visits for Prospects Due to Coronavirus Outbreak

For NFL Draft prospects, one of the best parts of the whole process is traveling from city to city to meet with prospective teams' front offices. You get to check out the stadium and facilities of the place you may end up calling home and pinch yourself while you take in all the grandeur.
Unfortunately for the 2020 draft class, that won't be the case leading up to late April's festivities. Per a recent report from sports agent Erik Burkhardt, the NFL has decided to cancel all pre-draft visits due to growing concerns over the coronavirus.
I’ve been notified that the @NFL has cancelled all draftee facility visits.

•Jordyn Brooks (LB- Tx Tech)- had 15 scheduled.
•Brandon Jones (DB- Texas)- had 8 scheduled.
•Devin Duvernay (WR- Texas)- had 6 + 7 private workouts.
While you've seen the NBA suspend its season and multiple conferences in the NCAA cancel their postseason basketball tournaments, it was time for pro football to arrive with a move of its own. NFL teams are also increasingly pulling scouts from Pro Day travel to college campuses, with the Chiefs notably doing so on Thursday morning.
While measures are being taken, it does come as a bit of a surprise the NFL will not be pushing back the official start of the 2020 season as of this time. Insider Adam Schefter broke that news, leaving many wondering what exactly Roger Goodell is thinking.
NFL said it has "no plans to move the start of the league year."

This could obviously change in the coming days as COVID-19 continues to make headlines and stoke fears across the country, of course.
