NFL and NFLPA Reportedly Expected to Meet Tuesday About Proposed New CBA

The NFL labor negotiations hit a bit of a snag Friday when the NFLPA did not hold a full vote on whether to approve the new collective bargaining agreement proposed by the owners.
The latest update is that the two sides will meet Tuesday to try to come to some sort of resolution.

There are some glaring concerns from the players and the fact the owners passed the proposal so swiftly does raise some alarms. Some players, like JJ Watt and Richard Sherman, have spoken out against the proposal on social media.
Hard no on that proposed CBA.

Taking the weekend allows for a further review and for both sides to hash out changes to make this work and avoid a work stoppage next year. The main sticking point is always revenue, while this new proposal may also be held up over a proposed 17-game season.

The owners want to play hardball and the players are being more cautious. The goal now is to work toward a solution and come up with a deal that actually benefits both sides.
