New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker's sophomore season in the pros got off to the worst start possible, as he and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar were named as suspects in an armed robbery case, which led to the pair surrendering to the police in Broward County (Florida).

Baker's bail was set at $200,000, or $25,000 for the eight charges he has against him. Baker, a Miami native, is not allowed to leave the state of Florida. The judge's ruling, however, could be changed if he needs to go play football.

Baker recorded 61 tackles as a rookie, but his struggles with speed and athleticism caused him to really struggle. His 48.4 PFF grade was abysmal, he allowed 62 percent completion and 15.7 yards per completion on throws targeting his receiver, and quarterbacks had an average passer rating of 116.2 targeting him.

According to reports, and making things even more ridiculous, the argument that provoked Baker's robbery was a dice game that went wrong. Baker reportedly stole watches that amount to over $100,000 in value, which could end up putting his status with the Giants in jeopardy.

Baker needed to be absolutely perfect this offseason to get back in the good graces of Giants fans, but he's ended up embarrassing the organization due to his off-the-field issues. A dice game? Seriously? This is a terrible look for both Baker and Dunbar.
