The Defenders got off to a hot start in Week 1 as quarterback Cardale Jones led the team to an exciting 31-19 win over Seattle. He did so in front of a packed house at Audi Field and his team built excitement in the inaugural game.

The Guardians had an even more dominant win in Week 1 as the team held Tampa Bay to three points in a 23-3 victory -- a matchup in which New York was the underdog. Matt McGloin is leading the squad and looked solid in what is his second chance at football glory.
