New Feature on Ezekiel Elliott 'Maturing Off the Field' Looks Really Dumb Now
By Sean Facey

For a brief moment, it appeared as though Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had finally started to act responsibly on a consistent basis away from the gridiron. In fact, he seemed to turn the corner such that a feature was published in the Dallas Morning News all about how he was "maturing off the field."
Now, that headline just looks unfortunate.

The release of Jon Machota's article on Elliott's personal progression outside the game couldn't have come at a worse time-- a video was just released of him getting handcuffed at a Las Vegas music festival after shoving a security guard to the ground.
For a guy who supposedly serves as a role model, he certainly seems care-free in terms of how he acts and how the media perceives him. All the praise Machota levied on him was clearly premature.

Chalk this up to the file of things you will never read @saquon doing.#GIANTS #GIANTSCHAT #GIANTSPRIDE #Cowboys https://t.co/0LA5tIQOe5
It just looks as though Elliot doesn't know how to act like an adult. Time and time again, he finds a way to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. This video is just the latest example of his immaturity.
No amount of talent on the football field can buy you off-the-field respect. It's time for Zeke to prove that he realyl can clean up his act.
