The Patriots are giving their fans something to talk about before next week's NFL Draft. On Friday, the team announced that they will reveal brand-new uniforms for the 2020 season this coming Monday.

The Pats are one of seven teams to get new threads this offseason.

New England hasn't changed their uniforms in 20 years, having tweaked their look back in 2000. As we all know, the Pats have had a huge amount of success in their current getups, winning six Super Bowl championships.

The fans of the current uniforms shouldn't be to worried, however, because this will not be a complete makeover. ESPN's Mike Reiss reported that the change "won't be dramatic." This is not surprising, as the Patriots have never sought to be a flashy team under Bill Belichick's leaadership.

It is nice to see new jerseys in the offing now that the Patriots are forced to usher in a new era without the legendary Tom Brady under center. A fresh start requires a fresh look.
