Is NCAA Football Video Game Coming Back in 2020?
By Parker White

The NCAA announced on Tuesday that student athletes are able to make money off their name and likeness. Obviously, there are rules that they have to abide by, but this can only mean one thing: EA Sports NCAA Football is coming back in 2020, right?
This can only mean one thing.

NCAA FOOTBALL VIDEO GAME IS COMING BACK https://t.co/qWsbkB2lCI
The NCAA nor EA Sports has made any kind of announcement about the very popular video game franchise, but with this ruling and a step in the right direction in terms of college athletes getting some sort of compensation, Clemson's Trevor Lawrence better be on a video game cover for next year.
With the NCAA moving toward allowing players to profit off of their name & likeness, revisiting this topic is a MUST...

Here are the players we were robbed of using in the NCAA football video game franchise. Oh, how much fun we could have had. ?https://t.co/M0uFkPgtlw
Is EA Sports NCAA Football 2020 coming out?
There's only one problem with all of this. The NCAA rule isn't expected to be instituted until 2021. At least that was the initial information that came out. They're expected to start making changes immediately, but when the ruling becomes official is anyone's guess. Basically, we can't bank on the game being out for 2020 as EA would have to negotiate deals with all the players as well as the colleges and NCAA.
The NCAA says it is now modernizing its rules toward likeness opportunities for athletes and will start to make new changes immediately, but no later than January 2021. https://t.co/QJ60WfYXFZ

Of course, if an when the game comes back, everyone wins. The NCAA will surely make a profit off this, the players that are depicted in the game will get a piece of the pie, and the fans will order the game in record numbers. That's a win-win-win.
