The votes are in, and King James has his crown, at least in the eyes of his young peers.

NBA rookies voted on who their favorite player is, and even after missing the playoffs in a subpar 2018-19 campaign, LeBron James still ranked No. 1...by far.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar and NBA icon pulled in 38% of the votes, making him the favorite three years running. Kevin Durant stood out as the only other vote-getter with double-digit percentage points, coming in with 20% of the vote.

But perhaps the most striking result of this poll was the fact that Stephen Curry didn't receive a single vote. It's especially intriguing considering lesser stars like Jamal Crawford and Pascal Siakam received votes over him.

Of course, this shouldn't distract from the fact that in the 10 years this poll question has been asked, LeBron James is the only player to come out on top more than three times, with this year being his fourth selection.

Even when he has a down year, he still stands out as one of the most beloved players in the league, especially by those who have the chance to play against him.
