It is the beginning of NBA All-Star Weekend Friday evening, with this year's festivities taking place in the city of Chicago. In addition to the All-Star Game, there are assorted events that showcase different aspects of the NBA and its elaborate culture throughout the weekend.

One of those events is the NBA All-Star Celerity Game, an event that is usually an afterthought compared to the other contests going on all weekend. However, this year it has gotten a little more buzz than usual. Let's explore what makes this year's game must-watch, and how to watch it.

How to Live Stream the 2020 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

This year's Celebrity game will be broadcast on ESPN, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 pm at the United Center. The stream can be accessed through the ESPN app, or through Reddit's basketball stream community.

Who Are the Captains for the Celebrity All-Star Game?

The captains for this year's contest will be the artists Common and Chance the Rapper. However, the focus for the fans this season won't be fully on the captains who will lead their respective squads. Rather, it will be on the celebrities who will lead their teams from the sidelines.

One of those coaches is Mike Wilbon, a longtime ESPN contributor who most notably hosts Pardon the Interruption. The other coach? None other than Stephen A. Smith, who is a walking soundbite wherever he goes. People will tune in just to hear him talk, and it was a brilliant PR move by the NBA to place him on the sidelines.
