The stage is set for the 2019 World Series, as the Houston Astros will represent the American League, while the Washington Nationals are the representative from the NL.

How to Live Stream World Series Game 1

Game 1 will get underway at 8:08 p.m. ET from Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. The game will be broadcast via FOX. Live streams can be found through Reddit's MLB streams subreddit.

Game 1 will be a fixture featuring two of the most feared pitchers in the sport.

Toeing the rubber for Houston in the series-opener will be none other than Gerrit Cole. He's been a stud all year long, logging a 20-5 record with a 2.50 ERA, 0.895 WHIP and an incredible 326 strikeouts in 212.1 innings. He's continued his dominance into the postseason, where he's gone 3-0 with a 0.40 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 22.2 innings of work.

As for the Nationals, it's none other than Max Scherzer on the hill. During the regular season he went 11-7 with a 2.92 ERA and 1.027 WHIP. He struck out 243 hitters in 172.1 innings. During the postseason he's made four appearances, three as a starter, and logged a 1.80 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 20 innings.

AJ Hinch will be looking to find the right formula to take down the Nationals, who are making their first ever World Series appearance. Dave Martinez's club was not expected to be dancing this deep into October, yet here they stand, appreciating the underdog label so frequently placed upon them.
