To become an outfielder in Major League Baseball, you need to have some serious arm strength. Victor Robles of the Washington Nationals checks that box for sure, as evidenced on Wednesday afternoon. While facing the New York Yankees, Robles secured a popup hit from catcher Gary Sanchez. As he spotted Gleyber Torres running for third base, Robles launched the ball to try and get out the Yankees shortstop. Unfortunately, despite Robles getting a TON of power behind this throw, he was lacking accuracy. The ball sailed well over the third baseman's head and out of play.

Not only did Robles launch this ball into the seats, but he did it without much of a build up. Oddly, Robles' first attempt to heave the ball into the infield saw him stop short and grimace in pain before regathering himself and firing for third.
