We've reached the point where we have no earthly idea when sports can return for our viewing pleasure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even so, that won't stop us from talking about what we love. We're as ready as ever for college football to return.

The landscape of NCAA Football has changed greatly, given the amount of top talent entering the upcoming NFL Draft. Even so, the NCAA provided their preseason Top-25 for 2020, and we're here to spot the fakers in the rankings.

Here are the five most overrated teams heading into next season.

5. Texas Longhorns

Ah, the Texas Longhorns. Even though they haven't won a National Championship since 2006, their fanbase has a bit of "Dallas Cowboys Syndrome." No matter the talent on the squad, they still think the Longhorns can win it all. Yes, they have a good quarterback in Sam Ehlinger, but their defense is terrible and they can't close games. If last season showed anything, they can't beat top teams in the nation (or even in their conference!). Sorry Texas, we're not believers.

4. Michigan Wolverines

Ever since Michigan hired Jim Harbaugh as their head coach, the expectations have been lofty each and every year. The common trend is that the Wolverines always fail to assert their dominance, especially against Ohio State. Now, they enter the 2020 season with a quarterback competition and, once again, a tough schedule. If Michigan couldn't beat the Buckeyes in the past, what makes them think they can do so this year with Justin Fields returning to Ohio State? Prepare to be let down again, Wolverines fans.

3. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Notre Dame is the darling of the CFP Selection Committee every single year. The independent football program always dominates the usual suspects, but when it comes to top-ranked schools, the Fighting Irish always falter and get exposed. We saw that last year when they lost the only two hard games on their schedule against Michigan and Georgia. Notre Dame has to face the Clemson Tigers and Wisconsin Badgers in 2020. Good luck against those programs.

2. Oklahoma Sooners

Oklahoma will always be revered as one of the top football programs in the nation. While we agree with that in terms of the offense, we can't say the same for the defense. The Big 12 Conference is notorious for their lack of quality defenses, and the Sooners are no exception. We saw that the past two years when they were blown out by the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers in consecutive CFP Semifinal losses. Lincoln Riley is expected to work his quarterback magic with 5-star recruit Spencer Rattler, but can the defense stop the opposition? We don't think so.

1. Georgia Bulldogs

When it comes to overrated teams, we can't help but bring up the NCAA's version of the Atlanta Falcons: the Georgia Bulldogs. Kirby Smart's team has shown the propensity to disappoint when it matters the most, especially in clutch moments. We immediately point to the 2018 National Championship loss and the past two SEC title games as the most prominent examples. In 2020, Smart will have Wake Forest transfer Jamie Newman under center. While he has more athletic ability than ex-starter Jake Fromm, we simply don't know if he's the missing piece to Georgia's puzzle. Here comes another season from Georgia in which you feel like you're expecting more out of them.
