More evidence continues to emerge daily on the Houston Astros sign-stealing scandal.

The latest revelation was shared by both Barry Svrluga and Dave Sheinin of the Washington Post. The two combined to publish a piece that alleges, thanks to unnamed sources within MLB, the cheating was an "open secret."

“The whole industry knows they’ve been cheating their a---- off for three or four years,” according to one MLB executive that spoke under the condition of anonymity to the Washington Post because the league has requested personnel from other teams not to speak openly about the scandal. “Everybody knew it.”

The exec also claimed "10-12" teams complained about the Astros about the sign-stealing DIRECTLY to Major League Baseball.

But this quote from a scout is even more damning:

“It was a big open secret, really big. Throughout baseball, throughout the scouting community, for several years, not just starting in 2017. I would say probably 2016, maybe earlier, through [2019], things were going on that were blatantly against the rules.”

Mr. Commissioner? Hello?! ANYBODY HOME?! This reported negligence is impeachable.

The Washington Nationals took down the Astros in last year's World Series and showed up prepared by changing up signs to combat potential sign-stealing through the use of video.

When the league wouldn't step in to save the game's integrity, it took extra work from opposing teams to combat the cheating. In the end, karma came through with the Nats defeating the Astros in Game 7 in Houston and Mike Fiers coming out to uncover what had been going on.

But yet again, this continues to be a terrible look for Major League Baseball.
