The MLB has a lot of investigating to do this week. The incident in the Houston Astros clubhouse with assistant GM Brandon Taubman is apparently just the beginning.

According to reports, the league received a copy of a troubling tweet from current umpire Rob Drake. The wildly inflammatory message suggested he was going to purchase an AR-15 if President Trump is impeached because the US will "have another Civil War."

Hasn't anybody learned by now? Drake at least had the wherewithal to delete the tweet after posting it late Tuesday, but you can bet someone got a hold of it before that. According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, Drake did not return phone calls or text messages regarding this.

According to MLB.com, Drake has been an ump at the big league level for 10 years now and has worked multiple postseason games as well as the 2017 World Baseball Classic. He's also the co-founder of "CallingForChrist.com" and a professional umpire ministry. His Twitter account is still active (@thedrake30).

Expect this to not go over well with the MLB given the current climate in the United States, especially concerning gun control. Stay tuned for updates on the league's investigation.
