The proud owner of the largest contract in American sports history is putting his money to good use.

Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout has reportedly bought a $9.15 million mansion in Newport Beach, Calif. that includes an elevator, a built-in "doggie bath" and some incredible views.

Recently renovated, the house has a multitude of features. It's got four bedrooms, an extra laundry room and an office on the second floor alone, while the basement houses a full bar, a wine cellar and a sauna.

Seriously, a sauna. This is what being the best player in baseball can get you, folks.

The 9,000-square-foot house barely puts a dent into the money that he's going to bring in over the next decade. Trout recently signed a massive 12-year, $426.5 million deal with the Angels that runs clean through 2030.

He did more than enough to earn it, too. He's finished in the top two in MVP voting six times in seven years since 2012, and seems destined to win his third award this season.

Since the start of 2017 alone, Trout has posted a 1.087 OPS, slugging 111 home runs and amassing an absurd 24.4 bWAR.

And now, when he's not busy destroying baseballs and being the best player in the league, he can relax in his Orange County mansion. Nice work if you can get it.
