The national spotlight was on the Michigan Wolverines and the Washington Huskies on Monday night. This was expected to be an offensive battle, but Michael Penix Jr. and UW couldn't get into a rhythm.
And with that, Michigan fans were celebrating in style after the final whistle, as the Wolverines were able to post a memorable 34-13 victory. Blake Corum was the star in this one, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns.
Before the game got started, reports surfaced that head coach Jim Harbaugh could be on his way to the NFL this offseason. If this was his last game with Michigan, then Harbaugh ended things with a bang. He wanted to bring home a natty for his alma mater and he was able to do just that.
