After losing yet again to Ohio State and falling down the Wolverines' wide receiver depth chart in favor of Donovan Peoples-Jones, Ronnie Bell, and Nico Collins, Michigan wide receiver Tarik Black has put his name in the transfer portal. With legit speed at 6-3 and 215 pounds with sure hands to boot, dozens of Power 5 programs will be trying to get in touch with Black. However, if Black wants to start producing in college and work his way into the professional ranks, these three programs would be an ideal landing spot.

3. Boston College

Under the now-deposed Steve Addazio, Boston College's offense was the most old school, three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust scheme in the country that centered around AJ Dillon plowing into the offensive line 35 times a game. That's not the best scheme for a wideout, but a new coach should be able to utilize Black's gifts more frequently. Black is from Conn., so transferring to nearby Massachusetts would represent a bit of a homecoming for the best player in the state during his recruiting class.

2. Illinois

It wasn't always pretty, and it was far from what you would call innovative football, but former Michigan quarterback Brandon Peters managed to grind out six wins for Lovie Smith and the Fighting Illini. Peters threw just 17 touchdowns against seven picks this season, but didn't have a trusted No. 1 receiver in the passing game he could rely on. Black could fix that problem instantly. Furthermore, he could help Smith and Illinois prove that last year was no fluke in Champaign.

1. Auburn

Gus Malzahn and the Tigers went HARD after Black when he was in high school, but he chose Michigan. Auburn is known for speed on the outside, but they could use a reliable possession receiver for Bo Nix to trust in the red zone, and Black can provide just that. While he wasn't afforded tons of opportunity in Ann Arbor under Jim Harbaugh, Nix and the Tigers would allow Black the chance to instantly become one of the focal points of the passing game.
