Michigan State's New Uniforms Were Officially Released and They're Somehow Worse Than We Imagined

This is what we get for wishing that Michigan State spruce up their uniforms a bit.

True to their namesake, the Spartans have sported a basic but still clean look of a forrest green jersey and white lettering. In order to get a little bit more funky and original with their design, Sparty has opted for the single most tacky jersey across all of college football. Now that they've been officially released, it's confirmed that is wasn't just a cruel April Fools joke.

There's something for everyone to hate with this uniform set. From the garish "STATE" emblazoned across the chest to the oversized numbering to the neon lime pants that look more at home in an 90s music video than a football game, it's just a mess from start to finish.

Against all odds, the players seem to like this. It defies all logic and common sense, but these have somehow earned rave reviews.

Sparty took one of the most traditional, well-regarded uniforms in the country and proceeded to throw this big confusing number into the mix.
