As if either of Ohio State or Michigan needed more ammo ahead of their annual rivalry matchup. Yet, Don Brown felt it necessary to give Justin Fields, Ryan Day and an explosive Ohio State offense just that.

Brown was featured on the 'In the Trenches' podcast last week, and while his statements weren't all that outlandish, there's one quote in particular which will be featured on the bulletin board in the Buckeyes locker room.

"I think we’ve done a good job of giving our guys stuff on a week to week basis where they’re probably wondering, ‘Why are we practicing this play? Why are we practicing that play?’ So, we’ve done a good job of keeping their hands in it without really telling them their hands are in it. But, they know," Brown said. "It’s another year, it’s a different group. They better be careful now because we’re hitting our stride too. This is a two-way street, and I know our guys will be ready in three weeks."

Day opted not to take the bait from Brown, and will let the Buckeyes' play in the field do the talking. That's wise, especially given Ohio State's recent history against Michigan, and the fact his offense is rated one of the best in college football.

Since 2012, Ohio State has scored over 30 points against Michigan six times, including a 62-point drubbing in 2018. Good luck, Don Brown.
