Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott still remains unsigned, and NFL analysts and commentators continue to speak up about just how absurd it is. This time, Cowboys legend and Hall of Famer Michael Irvin chimed in.

Irvin is pushing for Prescott to get paid, not just for this year, but for season's past. On Sunday, Irvin told the Dallas Morning News that Prescott deserves "back pay" for years of being underpaid by the Cowboys.

Prescott's contract last season was worth $2.1 million, 45th in the NFL among quarterbacks. He threw for 4,902 yards in 2019, the second-most in the league, and finished with the tenth-best QB rating (99.7).

Irvin is absolutely right to say that Prescott deserves more money than he's made so far. He was taken with the No. 135 overall pick in the 2016 NFL, and was on a smaller rookie contract due to the position he was taken in the draft. Yet, he's outplayed those expectations and then some.

Prescott will be hard-pressed to get every penny he's demanding out of Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, but he is still definitely due for a massive raise.
