People, there is college football on tonight! Right on the heels of a thrilling Wild Card weekend in the NFL, the amateur game is back with a matchup sure to stave off the icy stabbings of pigskin withdrawal: the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and the Miami RedHawks.

At 10-3, the Ragin' Cajuns ride into town as significant favorites. They fell their last time out in the Sun Belt Championship against Appalachian State, but are two-touchdown favorites against their MAC foes. Look for them to pound the rock with 1,000-yard rusher Elijah Mitchell, as well as home run threats Raymond Calais and Tray Ragas, each of whom ran for more than seven yards per carry this season.

On the other side, Chuck Martin's RedHawks likewise like to keep it on the ground, but have put up less gaudy offensive numbers by comparison. Lead back Jaylon Bester led the way with 689 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, scoring in every game this season except for Miami's Aug. 31 opener.
