Miami OC Dan Enos Harshly Criticizes Jarren Williams After Week 1 Loss to Florida
By Michael Luciano

Former Alabama quarterbacks coach and current Miami offensive coordinator Dan Enos is certainly a tough customer, as he appears to have been the only person who watched Florida's nail-biting win over Miami who was not impressed with the performance of freshman quarterback Jarren Williams.
Though Williams had his moments early on, he struggled in the second half. Enos claimed that Williams simply "didn't play well enough" for the Hurricanes to win.

Kind of harsh, especially when most of the offense didn't come ready to play.
Williams went 19-30 with 214 yards passing, a touchdown, and no interceptions. However, he fumbled twice (both were recovered by Miami) and was sacked 10 times behind a Hurricanes offensive line that was unbelievably nervous and ended up getting steamrolled by an experienced and hungry Gators defense.
He made some nice throws against a Top 10 team at a neutral site in his first start. Seems a bit harsh from Enos.
I’m a gator ? but Jarren Williams has my respect. Do your thing homie. You will be great.

Williams may not have walked across water in his debut, but it is hard to be quarterback when you only have two seconds to read a play after your left tackle was beaten for the 30th time in that game.
Florida's defensive line was overwhelming and Williams fared about as well as he could against the constant pressure he faced.
