The Miami Heat are seriously active ahead of Thursday's NBA trade deadline.

First, the rumors emerged that the team was working to acquire Andre Iguodala from the Memphis Grizzlies -- and they came true. The latest news, courtesy of a Woj bomb, is that front office boss Pat Riley is now exploring how he can trade for Oklahoma City Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari.

The versatile former first-round pick is on an expiring contract, and the Heat appear to be going all-in to chase a championship this season against all the odds.

Gallinari is averaging over 19 points and five rebounds per game in one of the better seasons of his career, and adds veteran know-how to a team that has impressed by surrounding Jimmy Butler with a young core.

The Heat will need to move significant salary to incorporate both Iguodala and Gallinari, but that doesn't appear to be a problem. The team has players like Dion Waiters, Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow that could all end up on the move to help match salaries.

The Thunder are still in the playoff hunt, so this deal will have to benefit both sides. What we do know is that the Heat see an opportunity to win the Eastern Conference, and they are absolutely not holding back.
