The NL Wild Card race is just about as close as it can possibly be, with at least six teams, many of which reside in the NL East, vying for one of those two coveted spots. Two contenders will face off against each other in prime time as Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies (69-65) take on Pete Alonso and the New York Mets (69-66).

First pitch from Citizens Bank Park will take place at 8:05 p.m. ET. The game will air on ESPN and live streams can be found on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Mets Lineup
The Mets will welcome outfielder Brandon Nimmo back from the IL tonight, though he won't be in the starting lineup. Jeff McNeil is leading off for New York, followed by Alonso, Michael Conforto and Wilson Ramos. McNeil has struggled since returning from the IL. He's slashing .143/.182/.333 with just three hits in his last five games.

Marcus Stroman, who has a subpar 4.91 ERA ever since he was traded to the Mets from the Toronto Blue Jays, will toe the rubber. In his last start, he surrendered four earned runs across six innings of work.
Phillies Lineup
Corey Dickerson is leading off for the Phillies, with J.T. Realmuto and Harper following him up. Over his past 21 games, Harper is slashing .296/.387/.691 with 10 homers and 24 RBI.

The struggling Zach Eflin, who is 8-11 with a 4.50 ERA this season, will start for the Phillies. He was decent in his last go around, striking out two batters and surrendering two runs in six innings.
