Mauricio Pochettino set to be the new coach for the USMNT

After the U.S. Men's National Team decided to part ways with Gregg Berhalter, the search was on to find a suitable replacement. Not only that, but the hope was that the federation would make a bit of a splash hire. That appears to be the case.
Per multiple reports, Mauricio Pochettino is set to become the new head coach for the men's side. Per David Ornstein, the deal hasn't been signed yet, but an agreement is in place. This is a big-time get and fans are fired up:

Pochettino is best known for his coaching days in the Premier League with Tottenham and Chelsea. While he was sacked by both clubs, there's no denying that he's well respected across the planet. He's now ready to take charge of an international side too. Only time will tell how he does for the USA, as the team is now focused on trying to make noise at the 2026 World Cup.
