Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk has firmly taken a side in the Ezekiel Elliott/Dallas Cowboys negotiations, and has some pretty juicy opinions on the Cowboys' current situation.

Faulk, who is in Cabo San Lucas right now to work out with Elliott, claims that quarterback Dak Prescott, who is also seeking a new deal, will be a "bum" once he gets his hypothetical new contract.

Ah yes, because the list of quarterbacks who just stop performing after getting paid is so long. Right now, it's Joe Flacco, and very few after him.

Moving on to Elliott, Faulk said, "This kid has basically carried this team the past three years." If only he stopped there.

Faulk then claimed he would be "pissed" off if he were Elliott, after seeing that rising young linebacker Jaylon Smith just signed a new deal with no trouble.

"I'll be honest with you," Faulk said. "If I'm Zeke, and I was sitting down, and I saw that they signed Jaylon Smith, I'm pissed. I'm just saying, I'm pissed."

The Dallas-Zeke contract negotiations have now devolved into nothing more than name-calling and egotistical headbutting. Sign him (as has been rumored) or trade him, and relieve us of all this verbal back-and-forth.
