Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is one of the most hands-on and visible owners in the entire NBA, but he is also one of the most controversial, as evidenced by the fact Adam Silver has repeatedly dinged his wallet in an attempt to get him to knock off his reckless behavior.

Cuban's latest fine was a $500,000 penalty after he went onto the floor to criticize officials during a Mavericks loss to the Atlanta Hawks. With this latest infraction, Cuban's fines during his 20 years of ownership have exceeded $3 million, though the true number could be higher due to the fact that not all fines are announced by the league.

Mark Cuban Net Worth

Cuban has a paltry net worth of $4.3 billion, which is honestly pretty embarrassing for him, so all of these fines add up to a whopping .07 percent of his total wealth

Daymond John's net worth, by comparison, hovers around $300 million.

Cuban's most recent infraction stemmed from the fact he thought a basket awarded to Hawks center John Collins via goaltending should not have counted. However, Adam Silver found no misapplication of the rules, and that it was Cuban who was found to be the person who violated more league guidelines than the referees.

Based on his cash value, he probably isn't sweating any further discipline from the NBA.
