Marcus Stroman Leaves Game Against Royals With Apparent Injury
By Jared Kish

Marcus Stroman was pitching in a close ball game against the Kansas City Royals Saturday when all of a sudden he had to be taken out of the game.
The Blue Jays hurler seemed fine as he stepped back out on the mound to start the fifth inning. After throwing a 90 MPH fastball up and in to Royals batter Whit Merrifield, Stroman immediately signaled to the dugout for the trainers.
Marcus Stroman calls for the trainer in the top of the 5th and is leaving this game.

Wow.#BlueJays
The issue doesn't appear to be a lower body injury.
Though we don't currently know the severity of the injury, Stroman is a major trade target come this year's deadline. Contending teams such as the New York Yankees and Houston Astros which both need starting pitching are reportedly major contenders for the Blue Jays starter.
The Astros two years ago did almost as much work on Marcus Stroman as a trade target as Justin Verlander.. They saw much they liked. With Corbin Martin and Forrest Whitley injured, he makes sense, especially with a year left before free agency

With the Blue Jays struggling this year and in the process of rebuilding, they will highly consider trading Stroman as he can bring in a hefty return.
If Stroman's injury turns out to be serious, it could shy away potential suitors for him. Hopefully this isn't the case.
