Manchester United gets great injury news for star defender Lisandro Martinez

Go ahead and take a deep breath, Manchester United fans. On Sunday in the 3-0 win over West Ham United, star defender Lisandro Martinez suffered a concerning knee injury in the second half. He went down in a ton of pain.
Martinez tried to tough it out and he even came back into the game for a brief period. However, it was a short return. There was fear that he might have torn his ACL, ending his season. Luckily, that's not the case.

It’s NOT an ACL injury, sources confirm.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Martindez indeed avoided the ACL tear and he's dealing with a sprained ligament. With this update, the Argentine defender will be out for a little under two months - he's expected to be back after the March international break. This means he should be back for the showdown vs. Liverpool in early April.
