Luke Voit Gave Credit to Pre-Workout for His Monster Home Run Against the Royals
By Karl Rasmussen

Luke Voit has handily won over the hearts of Yankees fans with his outstanding performance since joining the team last year. After Saturday's game that saw him obliterate a home run against the Royals, he revealed what he changed in his pregame routine.
Voit said he took "a little extra preworkout to get the juices flowing" today. Once, I took a little extra preworkout and had to bury my face into a pillow and focus on not dying.

Voit claims that he took "a little extra pre-workout" before Saturday's tilt in KC in order to "get the juices flowing."
Well, it's safe to say that those juices were coursing down a river this weekend, as when he came to the plate in the seventh inning, he unloaded a 467-foot blast, the longest round-tripper of the season for any member of the Yankees.
Clearly the pre-workout paid off, and maybe Voit should consider adding an extra scoop to his shaker bottle on a regular basis.
Luke Voit: 27th HR with Yankees

Since he became regular starter on Aug. 24 last year, that's the most HR of any AL player (only player with more is Christian Yelich, 35).
Since Voit became a Yankee on Aug. 24 of last season, he's mashed 27 home runs for his new club.
Talk about leaving an impression on a new city, Voit has instantly become a fan-favorite and has far outlived anyone's wildest expectations when he joined the team as an outcast from the Cardinals.
