The top three teams in college football are seperated by just eight points in the latest AP Poll, with Ed Orgeron and LSU now leading the pack.

Joe Burrow's Tigers took over the No. 1 mantle from Alabama after their third win over a Top 10 team this year, acquired when they beat Auburn on Saturday night. Bama fell down to No. 2, while Ohio State stayed at No. 3 despite thrashing Wisconsin.

The Pac-12 has two Top 10 teams now that Justin Herbert's Oregon and Tyler Huntley's Utah have snuck into the Top 10.

Four former Top 10 teams lost last week, as Oklahoma, Auburn, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin slid to No. 10, No. 11, No. 16, and No. 18, respectively. Unbeatens Baylor and Minnesota are ranked No. 12 and No. 13, while SMU remains the highest-ranked Group of Five team at No. 15.

Kansas State is back in the Top 25 at No. 22 following a win against the Sooners, while Texas fell out of the rankings after their embarrassing loss against TCU.

EIther Bama, LSU, or Ohio State could have been No. 1 in this poll, and it's hard to argue against any of them.
