After putting together one of the greatest seasons in the history of college football, the LSU Tigers have endured a pretty arduous offseason. Head coach Ed Orgeron has a lost a heap of his most trusted assistants, whether it be to the NFL or other college programs.

Well, those hardships are apparently ongoing for LSU and Orgeron. This time, however, it's extended to the personal life of the beloved head coach.

Per reports, the Tigers boss filed for divorce from his wife, Kelly, after 23 years of marriage.

Reports claim that Oregon did so on Feb. 26 in Baton Rouge, and that he and his wife haven't live together since that date.

According to court documents, Oregon wants "exclusive" use and possession of the couple's home in Baton Rouge. Meanwhile, he doesn't object to Kelly occupying their house in Mandeville, LA, until a judge determines community property.

This certainly isn't the happy ending that LSU fans were hoping for. The couple was married on Feb. 19. 1997. Together, they have two twin sons, Parker and Cody, both of whom are 22 years old.
