Long Island Hockey Team Had for Forfeit a Bunch of Games for the Most Disgusting Reason Ever

Sometimes, kids will be kids. Tat just has to be accepted. We all have our embarrassing memories of dumb stuff we did when we were younger to try and be cool or funny or rebellious only to look back now and cringe profoundly.

Thankfully, however, most of us never went as far as a certain group of teenage hockey players. It was reported that some members of the U14 Long Island Gulls decided to make a statement to one of their opponents in the grossest way possible.

Apparently, 10 Gulls players went into their opponents' locker room to defecate in the team's bags. If this wasn't bad enough, the investigation into the incident revealed that a number of parents encouraged their kids to commit this act in order to make a statement.

The implicated members of the team were suspended for the rest of the season. But one has to wonder why these parents -- or their coach, who just returned from a two-year suspension for assaulting a referee -- aren't receiving additional punishments.

We should also question if this guy was one of the parents involved.

Hopefully, the opposing team that had to endure this ridiculous, disgusting act can move on and have a short memory about the whole thing.

Talk about a situation that stinks.
