Liverpool opens season with tough 2-2 draw at Fulham

This was not the start to the English Premier League season that Liverpool fans were hoping to see. With newly-promoted Fulham on the list to open the campaign, LFC had a golden chance to start the year with three points.

Instead, Liverpool left the field with a 2-2 result, splitting the points with Fulham. Will these dropped two points come back to haunt the club later this season?

LFC figures to be in the title race until May with Manchester City. They simply can't afford to drop points like this early on. The Reds will need to get back on track next week.
