Lionel Messi has already proven he is not of this planet, but he still likes to remind us from time to time. The mercurial Argentinian winger put Barcelona up 1-0 over Levante with an inch-perfect pass to 17-year-old budding star winger Ansu Fati, who finished it past Levante goalie Aitor Fernandez.

The Messi to Fati connection has twice found the back of the net for Quique Setien's Barcelona, who are playing more free-flowing, attacking soccer than they did at the end of Ernesto Valverde's tenure. Now THIS is the Barcelona we know and love.

Fati's goals were his third and fourth of the season, despite the fact he has played in 12 league games.
If Messi and Barca keep playing like this, there is no reason why they can't fend off Real Madrid for the La Liga title once again and give Liverpool a run for their money in the Champions League.
