Let's Stop Talking About Cowboys' Botched Drive Against the Vikings Because Nobody Cares Anymore
By Jerry Trotta

Leave it to the Dallas Cowboys to dominate national headlines 72 hours after their loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football.
Though Jason Garrett's (or Kellen Moore's) moronic play-calling inside the red zone with a chance to take the lead in the closing minutes was fun to lambaste in the 24 hours that followed, the allure it once had is long gone.
Yet, pundits and former NFL players continue to deliberate the details.
If the Cowboys weren’t prepared to see a 4-2-5 even front on 3rd and 2, the staff should be fired today. Frederick has seen this front 1000x times in his career. He’s being a great teammate and taking the bullet. Appreciate that. https://t.co/tDli3l1hsE

Sure, these are all valid points made by former offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz and Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, but let's do everybody a favor and move on to previewing Dallas' upcoming matchup against the Detroit Lions at home.
Let's keep in mind the criticism that would come the Cowboys way if they were to fall to a Lions team potentially without quarterback Matthew Stafford. Even if the star gunslinger is able to play, Detroit is a very beatable team right now.
CORRECTION: Travis Frederick confirmed this was a defensive alignment they had not seen or prepared for, resulting in confused communication and 3 yard loss https://t.co/I88dbPhUXw

The bottom line here is that though faltering under pressure is Garrett's forte, beating his misfortunes to death helps no one.
It's freaking Wednesday, people. Enough is enough already.
