Florida law enforcement reported that two female acquaintances of Jets star running back Le'Veon Bell made off with over a half a million dollars worth of jewelry. Two gold chains, a black panther diamond pendant, and a Rolex totaling $520,000 were stolen from Bell's Florida home on May 25.

In the police report, the two women are referenced as "girlfriends" of the NFL star and reportedly stole the jewelry while he was away at the gym.

Bell stated that his closet was in shambles upon his return and both women had vanished. Police are still investigating the incident and the identities of both women have still not been revealed. It's also still unclear what his exact relationship with the two females is.

The former Steelers running back recently joined the Jets for their preseason minicamp. His deal with New York is worth upwards of $50 million over four years, which makes the $520,000 in jewelry he just had stolen from him look like pocket change, but still, no matter who you are or how much you make, that's a tremendous loss.

The police investigation of the incident is still ongoing. Bell hasn't said much about the incident, but hopefully for his sake he has some information that could lead to the arrests of the women and the return of his jewelry.
