Latest Report Proves Cowboys Are Bound to Screw up Amari Cooper Contract Talks
By Jerry Trotta

Next to their world-beating offensive line, Amari Cooper is the most important player on the Dallas Cowboys offense.
Dak Prescott's numbers with his No.1 wideout on the gridiron compared to before he was acquired via trade (or is sidelined with an injury) are literally night and day.
Regardless of that FACT, talks of a contract extension for Cooper remain at a stalemate. The latest reports suggest that progress hasn't been made and that a deal will likely have to wait until the offseason.

We continue to hear that extending Cooper is one of Dallas' top priorities, along with signing Prescott, but they continue to delay doing so, and we're starting to think that Jerry Jones and Co. are bound to screw it all up.
That concept is utterly exasperating considering how he has morphed the Cowboys offense from average to one of the best in the NFL.
Through his first 16 games in Big D, Cooper has logged 98 catches for 1,408 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Those numbers should see Cooper being one of the league's highest wideouts right now, not after this season.
Only the Cowboys could botch contract talks of a 25-year-old superstar just entering the prime of his career.
