Latest Dumb Freddie Kitchens Quote to Leak Proves He's in Way Over His Head as a Head Coach

The Cleveland Browns might be nearly unwatchable dreck this season, but at least they're the entertaining kind of nearly unwatchable dreck! The ringleader behind this disaster of a season is head coach Freddie Kitchens, who looks more in over his skis with each passing week.

Don't believe us? Well, there's a new Kitchens quote every week to further illustrate his particular brand of malarkey.

This week, we've all chosen to remember this Holy Take. Following their Week 4 win against the Baltimore Ravens, Kitchens boldly claimed that his team "plays football" and isn't in the business of "drawing up plays to beat the other team."

Well, Freddie, "playing football" doesn't seem to be working. Maybe drawing up some plays could've turned things around?

Kitchens proved that he knows what he's doing as an offensive coordinator last season, but his Browns have become a complete dumpster fire in Year 1 of his official regime. They lead the league in penalties by a wide margin, and have declined in several major defensive and offensive categories, despite adding stars on both sides of the ball.

Kitchens, who isn't going to morph into Paul Brown or Marty Schottenheimer suddenly, should be a lame duck head coach who gets his rear end kicked out of the building after one disappointing season. But because the Browns will be dysfunctional in perpetuity barring a minor miracle, they'll probably give Kitchens a contract extension.

We recommend they try crafting plays in 2020.
