The Houston Astros are no strangers to injuries for pitchers. With that said, they were still hopeful that Lance McCullers Jr. would be ready to rock sooner than later this campaign.
Unfortunately, that won't be the case for the club. This week, it was announced that the righty has been moved to the 60-day IL. This is a bummer for the hurler.
This of course is bad news for Houston. Luckily, Justin Verlander is back and he looked sensational last Saturday against the Seattle Mariners. Still, Houston will hope that McCullers can get himself healthy ASAP and return to the bump.
